          Bhimsain Himatrai Khurana (mononymously known as Bhimsain; born November 24,1936-17 April 2018) as is a prominent Indian filmmaker and animator.[1][2][3]He is well known as the Father of Indian animation[4][5][6] and one of the pioneers of the parallel cinema movement of the 70s.

          He is a recipient of an unprecedented 16 President's National Awards[7], 5 Filmfare Awards and 7 assorted international awards and is known for cult classics like Ek Anek Aur Ekta, Gharaonda, Doooriyan, Vartmaan and Chhoti Badi Baatein.[8][9][10] He was the Founder and President of 22-time National Award-winning production house, Climb Media India.[11][12]
