Michael Telzrow to Serve as Director of Wisconsin Veterans Museum
(MADISON) ― The Wisconsin Veterans Museum welcomes a new director, beginning March 1, 2010.
Michael Telzrow has been working in the museum field for over fifteen years, most recently as executive director of the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Central Florida and earned a master’s degree in public history/museum studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
From 1995-1997, he served at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum as a curatorial assistant. Subsequent museum assignments included the Neville Public Museum of Brown County (curator of history) and the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum (director of research and interpretation), and the National Railroad Museum (executive director).
